Scholarship and College Preparation
- Oklahoma's Promise – Available to 8th, 9th, or 10th
students. Family income must be under $50,000 for the qualifying
year; student must maintain 2.5 cumulative GPA. Pays tuition at any
OK college or technical school.

UPWARD BOUND – Enrolled in 9th, 10th. This program is for low income or first generation
college-bound students. OSU monitors high school progress, offers
monthly tutoring and a six-week summer program at OSU, and pays
students to attend.
- ACT (college entrance test) is given at P-T on
September 8, October 27, December 8, February 9, and April 13. It
is given more frequently at OSU and Stillwater High, as well as at
all other area colleges. See the calendar for exact dates and
registration deadlines. Paper or online applications are available
through the guidance nook, English classes, or by going to
www.act.org.
- SCHOLARSHIPS – are updated monthly on web site, and sent to the Perkins’ Journal.
Individual lists are available upon request.
